The session will be 1 hour in studio for only $100! You will get a CD of all your best images as high resolution files including a print release! Calendars starting at $40!

New Session: The Day After!

We've added a new session for those who are getting married! On your wedding day we know exactly how fast paced and quick the day can be, we also understand that sometimes there just isn't enough time in the day to get all those beautifully romantic shots you are looking for to commemorate your special day. This is why we've added The Day After photosession to our list we offer clients! This sessions allows us plenty of time to really capture the love between the couple without the added distractions which means there will be a calming romantic flair to your images!

Just because we called it The Day After doesn't mean it has to be then! This session can be at any point up to a month after your wedding day! If we shoot your wedding you can add this session for only $100 extra! If you have our best package this shoot can be chosen as the free session that is included already! As usual, you will get a DVD of all your best images fully edited and at high resolution with print release.

Announcement

Some exciting changes are happening to The Royal Studio and we are so happy to finally announce them! The first big announcement is that we're moving! To better serve our photography clients we have discontinued the gallery. Don't worry about trying to find us though because we just moved one story up above where the gallery was located! Our phone number, website, and all information is the same except for our address which is now; POBox 702, Bristol, TN 37621.

Wise Words

Often times in the photography service business people question the price and why it is considered, in their opinion, so high. I enjoy explaining this to those who ask but I discovered an interview with a Set Designer for world famous photographers - Raffy Tesoro - who managed to explain it in a way I could not. So if you have any questions on why photographers charge what they do, or painters, musicians, those who draw, and other artists here's a great explanation;

The experiences, the lessons, aesthetics, rules, etc… all go in and out in a flash but leave a mark on the idea. A good example of this is a story I heard about this big company that wanted to update their logo… so they hired a very talented big name graphics designer to do it. During the preliminary meeting, she was doodling on a napkin while they were talking about what they wanted the new logo to signify. So at the end of the meeting she showed them her napkin doodle and voila… there was their logo. They loved it. But they didn’t want to pay her so much since they thought… she just scribbled on a napkin! To which she said that this design didn’t come out of thin air. Sure it was made out of nothing really… but behind it, her experiences, her travels, her studies, etc. That cost her a lot of time, money and personal investment. That’s what they were paying for. Her Vision. And this is something that most people don’t realize about artists. We may create something out of nothing… but that nothing had to come out of something.

Operation Heart

Starting today The Royal Studio & Gallery will be offering special photo shoots to those in the military and their families. This is designed to celebrate the love for one another before deployment and the joy of having them come home.

To schedule email us at info@theroyalstudioandgallery.com. You may choose to have your photo session before deployment, or after.

For before we will shoot on location or in studio, your preference, with the loved one serving in the military. Be sure to schedule this far enough out so you may receive your dvd of images before being deployed.

For a special coming home event we will travel to the airport where you will meet your loved one in the military. We will candidly capture the moments as you rejoice for you to remember for a lifetime.

Timing of each session varies and can be discussed during a consultation. You will receive a limited copyright release dvd of the best edited images. For an additional charge with military discount you may order prints, albums, gallery wraps, greeting cards, and so much more. Contact us today as we only have two spots each month available!
